Wonderful word of the week #2

Chairdy noun  kettle  as in “put chairdy on”

origin:  One of many words invented by a distant relative known as ‘mad uncle Charlie’

As well as an extensive vocabulary Charlie was something of a poet it appears. The following ode was found written on the back of a small photograph of a terrier.

“He held the dog to keep him still

To take a snapshot not a pill”
